MABIS Association of Parents (MAP)

Founded in November 2013, the MABIS Association of Parents (MAP) was established to strengthen the partnership between families and school in nurturing globally minded, responsible leaders committed to a sustainable world.

MAP plays a vital and active role in school life. In addition to fostering community connection, MAP organizes signature events such as the Christmas Carnival and International Day, bringing culture, celebration, and joy to our campus.

MAP parents also volunteer generously across numerous school activities — supporting events, workshops, and community initiatives — embodying the spirit of collaboration that defines MABIS.

Through MAP, parents are not only supporters of the school; they are co-creators of the MABIS experience.

Parent Learning

At MABIS, parents are true partners in the learning journey.

Through Parent Information Sessions, Parent University, and Classroom Observations, families gain deeper insight into Montessori philosophy, our trilingual curriculum, and their child’s developmental stage.

These sessions create alignment between home and school, empowering parents with practical tools, shared language, and a deeper understanding of how children grow — academically, socially, and emotionally.

Parent Social

At MABIS, community is cultivated through shared experience.

Our Parent Social workshops — from culinary creations and traditional mooncake making to floral artistry, candle crafting, ceramic painting, and festive cultural celebrations — offer families meaningful opportunities to engage with culture, creativity, and one another.

These gatherings reflect our belief that education extends beyond the classroom — it is lived, shared, and celebrated together.

Bring Your Parent to School

“Bring Your Parent to School” is a special opportunity for families to step into their child’s world.

Parents experience the classroom environment firsthand, participate in activities alongside their children, and — most meaningfully — are guided by their own child, who proudly teaches and demonstrates what they have learned.

As students take on the role of mentor, parents witness the independence, confidence, focus, and joy that define a Montessori learning experience.

It is a powerful reminder that education is most meaningful when it is shared — and when children are empowered to lead.
